Art and Creation Station

Much of the developmental growth with art is sensory. However children are also developing representational thought. They are expressing their originality- using small muscles to paint, draw, cut, tear, glue, apply and manipulate materials. Cognitively, children are learning about color, line, shape, size, texture, trial and error, balance, and problem solving. Children are always happy to talk about their creations.
